Los Angeles, CA — After more than a decade in the adult entertainment industry, Rome Major is focusing on building something designed to last.

In a direct and unfiltered conversation following his alignment with Nexxxt Level Talent Agency, Rome speaks on the shift from working within the system to building one.

We sat down with Rome to understand what changed, what he sees after 14 years in the adult entertainment space, and where this next phase is taking him.

When did you realize that just being a performer was not enough anymore, what triggered that shift for you?

“I realized early that performing alone has limits. You can be here today and forgotten tomorrow if you do not build anything beyond being a performer. The shift came when I started understanding ownership, who controls the content, the narrative, and the money long term. That’s when it became clear to me that I’m not just here to be talent. I need to build an empire.”

What does being a brand mean to you personally?

“Being a brand means consistency, accountability and identity. It’s how people recognize you instantly. Rome Major is a performer and a business. Every move I make has to align with that.”

What are you doing right now that most performers are not doing that will separate you over time?

“I’m focused on building platforms, partnerships, and long-term revenue scaling. A lot of performers chase the bookings. That’s fine, but there’s time in between bookings needed to building assets. I believe that’s the difference between short term success and something that lasts.”

What kind of opportunities are you intentionally working toward outside of just booking scenes?

“I’m expanding into ownership, content distribution, brand collaborations across different markets, and hosting experiences for major companies. I’m building something that lives beyond me physically performing. The goal is to have my name connected to multiple lanes.”

What have you learned about owning your image, your content, and your reputation in this industry?

“If you don’t control your image, someone else will. Ownership equals leverage. Your content is your catalog and your reputation is your currency. You have to protect both at all costs.”

If a new performer asked you for one piece of advice about building something long term, what would you tell them?

“Think bigger than today. Do not just chase quick money. Build something that pays you years from now. Own as much as you can and move like a business, not just talent.”

What do you think producers and directors really value that performers sometimes overlook?

“Professionalism and reliability. Performing well gets you noticed, but consistency keeps you working. Being on time, prepared, and easy to work with goes further than most people think.”

What do you personally focus on when you step onto a set to make sure you stand out?

“Energy, presence, and professionalism. Every set is my brand on display. I want people to remember not just the performance, but how I carried myself.”

How do you handle competition in this space?

“I don’t compete. I give everything to every set. I stay focused on my lane and my business. That’s what keeps me grounded.”

What does success look like for you beyond just getting booked?

“Success is ownership, freedom, and longevity. It’s waking up knowing my business runs whether I’m on set or not. It’s building something to outlast my daily grind.”

What made you want to align yourself with Nexxxt Level Talent Agency at this stage of your career?

“At this stage of my career, alignment matters more than anything. I wanted a team that understands where I am going, not just where I am right now. Nexxxt Level discusses the bigger picture. This kind of representation matters when you are trying to scale. I use them for more than getting booked. They have the experience of representing superstars in business too.”

In your opinion, what is an agency good for and how can they hurt your career?

“A good agency can create access, community, structure, and opportunity. A bad one can limit you, misrepresent you, and may even have you getting caught up in their business. You have to choose partners who respect your vision. It’s taken a lot of hard learning years to get here.”

How do you see this partnership helping you build something bigger long term?

“It was a strategic move to elevate the Rome Major brand to the next level. I watched Nexxxt Level operate for years before having any talk of representation. Jonathan and Andre have met me where I’m at in my career. Every one of our talks have been from how we can grow my business together.”

I’m not here for the moment. I’m here for the legacy. Everything I’m building is bigger than just performing. This is Major Work.”
