Chicago – Cheerleader Kait is featured in a new Elle Magazine article, “Real OnlyFans Creators React to Euphoria and Margo’s Got Money Troubles”, where she weighs in on the growing visibility of OnlyFans in film and television – and why broader acceptance still has not erased the stigma around it.
Speaking with writer Samantha Bergeson, Kait reflects on how much the conversation around OnlyFans has changed since she first got started, while making clear that wider visibility has not fully translated into respect.
“Although [creating content for OnlyFans] is more common now, it still doesn’t have a very positive connotation,” Kait says. “It’s more accepted but not necessarily respected.” She also looks back on the early days of her career, saying, “It felt very hush-hush,” and noting that if people found out, “word spread and it was a really big deal.”
The feature also highlights Kait’s success on the platform, noting that her girl-next-door brand has helped make her one of the top 50 biggest OnlyFans creators in the world. “Now, I feel like it’s so mainstream,” Kait says in the article. “It’s a relatable job, and [having an OnlyFans is] almost a societal norm even though it’s taboo.”
