Chicago — Thea Summers, one of the most exciting newcomers in the World of X, has been honored as Best International Rising Star at Italy’s DSN (Doppio Senso Night) Awards, the first award of her young career in adult film.
The most prestigious adult awards ceremony in Italy, the DSN event was held on Sunday, May 17th as part of the “Veneto Experience” event at the fabulous New 1000 Lire in Preganziol (Treviso).
The awards show, recognizing excellence in both Italian and international adult entertainment, is the creation of Italian journalist and broadcast personality Massimo Bonera, host of Doppio Senso Night (Eng: Double Entendre Night), a live weekly television show airing on Italy’s Prima Free network since 2011.
Having received a sensational 41% of the fan vote in the contest, a beaming Summers took the stage to accept her first adult industry award.
“I’m honestly overwhelmed with gratitude right now,” Summers shared. “Italy has always been a place I’ve dreamed of, so receiving my first award here feels so incredibly special to me. I’ve only been in the industry for a year and a half, and truly didn’t expect my work to be recognized on this level so quickly.”
