LAS VEGAS—Aid organization Sex Work Mutual Aid Collective (SWAID) in
partnership with Pornhub raised over $4500 and distributed harm
reduction supplies to the Las Vegas sex worker community at their
April clothing swap.
SWAID raised $2040 in charitable donations through events like their
raffle and silent auctions, with an additional $2500 pledged by
platinum sponsor Pornhub, for their microgrant program. This
initiative provides financial aid to struggling sex workers. Pornhub
also contributed complimentary clothing and exclusive raffle and
auction items.
“Shout out to all of the sponsors and to everyone who volunteered,
donated and gave their time to make this event happen,” SWAID
organizer Kaiia Eve said. “There was a lot of time and coordinating
that went into this one, and I am so proud of what we all
accomplished. See y’all in the fall!”
The event was a huge success, hitting big milestones including:
· Distributed over 200 condoms
· Provided 50 doses of Plan B
· Supplied 25 NARCAN nasal sprays
· Hundreds of pieces of clothing exchanged
Additional sponsors contributing to the swap’s food, auction and
raffle prizes included ArielX, Peepshow Toys, Uberrime, Mr. Hankey’s
Toys, Dee’s Big Daddies and Flirty Dawg.
SWAID provides harm reduction supplies, microgrants and testing
subsidies to sex workers in need and will host a similar event in the
fall. “I had so much fun coordinating this swap with the rest of the
team,” said organizer Dahlia Von Knight. “We had such a great turn
out, and I can’t wait to plan the fall one!”

amazing to see the real impact they have on people’s lives,” said
