Chicago – Independent content creator Megan Mistakes today revealed details about Night Shift, her upcoming collaboration with ForPlay Films founder and 2024 AVN & XBIZ award-winner Inka Winter.
“We just finished shooting Night Shift. It’s an orgy scenario featuring me, Steven Ricks, Arson Leigh, and Lowlita. The concept was super fun, and really like nothing I had seen before. Basically, we start off as mannequins who come to life and explore each other’s bodies. It’s also my first group scene, so I’m super excited for my fans to see it.” Mistakes sees her ongoing collaboration with Winter as a turning point in her evolution from camming to mainstream performing. “While I love camming and being able to interact with my fans one on one, I’ve realized how much I love the atmosphere of being on set and collaborating with others. As of right now, my most memorable projects are definitely the ones I’ve done for Inka Winter.”
The founder of the feminist adult studio ForPlay Films, Winter received multiple 2024 AVN & XBIZ awards for her Lust Cinema series Ashford Manor (including a Best Acting – Lead trophy from XBIZ honoring Nicole Kitt’s superlative performance). A breakout success, Ashford Manor drew critical raves for examining love stories through a romantic lens that was equal parts Jane Austen and Bridgerton. “I absolutely love her creativity and her sense of collaboration on set,” Mistakes says of the iconoclastic filmmaker, who is currently the subject of an in-depth XBIZ Women In Adult profile. “If it weren’t for working with her, I would have never considered working on films in general. Everyone I’ve met since being more public about my work has been so warm, welcoming, and supportive.”
Mistakes’ collaborations with Winter extend beyond the world of film. She and other performers (including Nicole Kitt and Jasmine Teaa) joined the moviemaker in a weekly sex education stream on Streamate where they fielded questions from fans about human sexuality for ELEVATE, an ongoing initiative recognizing members and allies of the adult industry who are working to make a positive impact within their communities. “A lot of my work has been direct with fans just because I’ve been camming for six years and so many people are nervous to express their desires and interests, due to shame or embarrassment,” she said of the experience. “Most of the time it’s nothing to be embarrassed about in my personal opinion. Something my parents always told me was as long as you are safe, aren’t hurting someone or being offensive to a group of people, the opinions of others on what you do don’t matter, and I echo the same thing to my fans. I’m trying to break down that barrier of shame and move it towards excitement and more positive interactions.”
