Chicago—Veteran sex-positive broadcaster, Mehgan Sapphire has received an AVN Fan Award nomination for Favorite Adult Podcast for her show, Sapphire’s Earplay and is asking fans to vote for her daily here https://avn.com/awards/voting/favorite-adult-podcast
“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by the AVNs. When I started Sapphire’s Earplay back in 2009 under the name Erotic City Radio, my goal was to expand people’s idea of sex beyond what we see in the media,” says Sapphire. “Sex culture is constantly evolving, and I just wanted to share my fascination with physical intimacy with my “Earbuds” on the airwaves. So, to be nominated among these legends, many of whom have been guests and supporters of Sapphire’s Earplay over the years, I say thank you. I love you, and I will ALWAYS share space with you sexy motherfuckers out there in radioland.”
The public is invited to vote for their favorite performers, cam models and creators in each Fan-Voting category until the deadline at noon on Saturday, January 25, 2025—the same day as the 42nd annual AVN Awards Show, hosted by Blake Blossom and Alex Knight, and presented by MyFreeCams.
Voting is free and fans may cast their votes by clicking on the nominee of their choice. Individuals will be allowed five votes per category every day.
Porn stars who have enjoyed intimate conversations on “Sapphire’s Earplay,” in 2024 include Rebel Lynn, Joslyn Jane, Emma Rose and Athena Parisi as well as sex worker/industry guests such as Cassie Black, Mandy Mayhem and Master Arch.

About Mehgan Sapphire:
Since 2009, Mehgan Sapphire has cultivated a unique perspective in the radio industry. Her career began with a popular sex education show, Sapphire’s Earplay, which she started in college and which gave her the tools she would need to become a powerhouse of satellite and terrestrial radio. From her not-so-humble beginnings at San Francisco State as a pioneer of the podcast industry, to being hired as one of the youngest performers (still to date) to have produced and hosted content for Sirius XM, to lending her sultry voice to the morning shows and news reports at iHeartRadio, there’s nothing this woman can’t accomplish on the microphone. With a focus on creating a space for Black and Queer voices, the new “Mistress of Radio” is not afraid to tickle your ears, to speak her mind, and to take the airwaves by storm.
