Thursday
Green Bay @ Detroit – Both teams trail the Bears by one game in the NFC North. Neither team has been playing good football the last few weeks, but the Packers had a solid game in their win over the Vikings while the Lions struggled with the Giants in their win. The Lions have more issues to deal with, but being that it’s Thanksgiving, a small edge goes to Detroit. Lions 27 Packers 23
Kansas City @ Dallas – The Cowboys have won two in a row after their wild win at home against the Eagles. The Chiefs are also coming off a home win over the Colts, so they’re not dead yet. I still don’t have confidence in the Cowboys. Chiefs 24 Cowboys 20
Cincinnati @ Baltimore – Bengals QB Joe Burrow is expected to play on Thanksgiving against Ravens. That should help boost TV ratings, but the outcome will not change. Ravens 31 Bengals 23
Friday
Chicago @ Philadelphia – The Bears are in first place in the North, and they could be described as this year’s version of the Cardiac Kids because of their late-game heroics. But the Eagles are not the Steelers or the Vikings, and the Bears have a ton of injuries on defense that will show against a good Eagles offense. Eagles 31 Bears 20
Sunday
Los Angeles Rams @ Carolina – The Rams could be the best team in the NFL at this point of the season. Carolina was soundly defeated at San Francisco Monday night. However, West Coast teams suck when they play early games on the East Coast. That being said, the Rams will win even if they’re just half awake. Rams 27 Carolina 17
San Francisco @ Cleveland – Shedeur Sanders won in his first start in the NFL, all-be-it against the Raiders, but a win, nonetheless. The 49ers won their last two games and are fighting to stay in the wild card hunt. Another West Coast team playing an early East Coast game, adding to the fact the weather may be an issue in Cleveland on Sunday. 49ers 23 Browns 20
Houston @ Indianapolis – Houston has won their last 3 games including a solid win over the Bills Sunday night. The Colts have been solid most of the season but lost Sunday on the road at KC. A win on the road by the Texans would really tighten up the AFC South race. Texans 24 Colts 23
New Orleans @ Miami – Before their bye week, the 4-7 Dolphins had won their last two games. The 2-9 Saints head to Miami after a home loss to the rival Falcons. If the playoffs started today, both teams would be on a beach someplace. Dolphins 27 Saints 20
Atlanta @ NY Jets – The Falcons have a glimmer of hope for a playoff berth with Tampa losing their last three games. The 2-9 Jets have lost their last two games including a 13-point loss to the Ravens last Sunday. Falcons 20 Jets 17
Arizona @ Tampa – Baker Mayfield’s left shoulder injury was revealed to be a low-grade sprain after an MRI and as I write this his availability to play Sunday hasn’t been determined. If Mayfield can’t go, all eyes will be on Teddy Bridgewater. Lucky for the Bucs that the 3-8 Cardinals come to town riding a 3-game losing streak. Buccaneers 30 Cardinals 24
Jacksonville @ Tennessee – If the Jaguars win and the Colts lose, they’ll be tied in the AFC South. This isn’t a good time for the Jags to choke against a 1-10 Titans team. Jaguars 31 Titans 20
Minnesota @ Seattle – The Vikings are a trainwreck. Seattle is in the hunt for an NFC West title. Seattle 28 Vikings 20
Las Vegas @ Los Angeles Chargers – The Raiders have fired their Special Teams and OC this season, it’s a safe bet their HC will be gone after the season. But this is one of those legendary AFC rivalry games, so don’t be surprised this game is closer than one would guess. Who am I kidding? The Raiders suck. Chargers 31 Raiders 18
Buffalo @ Pittsburgh – Several pundits have talked about the end of the Kansas City Chiefs dynasty this season but has anyone looked at the 7-4 Bills lately? They haven’t played a complete game all season. With Aaron Rodgers returning for the Steelers this should be a close game. Bills 27 Steelers 24
Denver @ Washington – Everyone had high hopes for the Commanders, but the come into this game sitting on a 6-game losing streak. The Broncos are 9 – 2 with an 8-game winning streak. Broncos 34 Washington 20
Monday Night
NY Giants @ New England – The Giants are not good, but they’re unpredictable in a fun way at this point of the season. Fun, this is, if you don’t have to play them. The Patriots are 10-2 with a commanding lead in the AFC East, but they’re playing a team that is simply free balling it out there. See Giants v. Lions. Patriots 27 Giants 20
