Week Seventeen 8 – 8
Season Record 155 – 98 – 1
Saturday
Carolina @ Tampa – Carolina wins and they’re in. Tampa wins and they need the Saints to beat Atlanta to lock up the NFC South. Tampa 27 Carolina 23
Seattle @ San Francisco – The NFC West and homefield are both on the line. Seahawks 31 49ers 24
Sunday
New Orleans @ Atlanta – An interesting game with both teams on mini-winning streaks. Tampa (if they win Saturday) will be hoping for a Saints victory. The Falcons upset the Rams last week and could finish the season on a 4 – game winning streak. A Saints win would end their season with a respectable 7 – 10. Atlanta 23 New Orleans 20
Cleveland @ Cincinnati – One or both head coaches may be fired after this game. Cleveland should be riding high after their upset win over the Steelers, and they face their in-state rival Bengals. Bengals 30 Browns 20
Indianapolis @ Houston – Houston has a shot at the division if the Jags fall to Tennessee (not likely). Houston could be the surprise team as the head into the playoffs. Texans 34 Colts 23
Tennessee @ Jacksonville – Jags win and they lock up the AFC South. Jaguars 27 Titans 17
Green Bay @ Minnesota – Jordan Love should be back for the Packers as they are locked into a wild card while the Vikings are playing for pride as they ride a 4 – game winning streak into this rivalry game. Packers 23 Vikings 20
Dallas @ NY Giants – On paper, Dallas has better talent, but will that talent show up in a meaningless game? Dallas 24 Giants 17
NY Jets @ Buffalo – The Bills inspiration for this game is seeding. With a win and some help they could move up to the 5th seed. The Jets are playing for draft position and the HC is coaching for his job. Bills 27 Jets 10
Detroit @ Chicago – A Bears win, and they’ll lock up the 2nd seed in the NFC. They also owe a little payback to the Lions for that 50 burger earlier this season. Bears 31 Lions 23
LA Chargers @ Denver – The Broncos need a win to lock up homefield advantage. The Chargers are locked into their wild card position. Denver 34 Chargers 23
Arizona @ LA Rams – The Rams loss to the Falcons cost them a shot at the West title. Really not much to play for except seeding position. Rams 38 Cardinals 17
Kansas City @ Las Vegas – Knowing the Raiders, they’ll win the game and fuck themselves out of a higher draft position. Chiefs 20 Raiders 17
Miami @ New England – A couple of different scenarios could benefit the Patriots, but the bottom line is just beat the Dolphins. Patriots 30 Miami 24
Washington @ Philadelphia – The Eagles are getting heated up just in time for the playoffs. Another list of scenarios could benefit the Birds, but without a win, none of it matters. Eagles 34 Commanders 23
Baltimore @ Pittsburgh – If Lamar Jackson is breathing, he’s playing Sunday night. If the Ravens repeat their game plan they used against Green Bay by feeding Derrick Henry the ball, they’ll win. Pittsburgh can’t repeat their performance last week against the Browns. Pittsburgh’s receivers must step up big in this game. This game is so close to call… Baltimore 27 Pittsburgh 24
