Chicago – The Mouse’s Ear Knoxville is extending a very public-and very serious-$10,000 invitation to Officer Reed to judge its Sexting Contest on Friday, August 28, 2026.
Following the widely reported texting scandal involving Reed and Knoxville’s former police chief, The Mouse’s Ear believes her résumé speaks for itself.
“When Knoxville needs an expert opinion on a sexy text, who are we to argue with experience?” said Mike Dickinson, Regional Manager Pony Clubs. “We heard Officer Reed has some time on her hands, so we’re offering her $10,000 to help us separate the smooth talkers from the people who should have left it in drafts.”
To be clear: Officer Reed has been invited but has not accepted or confirmed her participation. The $10,000 offer is contingent upon her appearing at The Mouse’s Ear Knoxville and serving as an official judge for the contest.
The competition will challenge contestants to produce their funniest, filthiest and most unforgettable texts. Entries will be judged on creativity, delivery and whether they’re hot enough to cause an internal investigation.
“Some people delete their messages. We’re putting the best ones on trial.”
The Sexting Contest takes place Friday, August 28, at 11 p.m. at The Mouse’s Ear Knoxville, located at 8873 Kingston Pike in Knoxville, Tennessee.
