Jay Moyes has been a stalwart in the adult industry since the 1990s, starting his career in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles. In 1999, he joined AVN, where he worked in the art and archives department, eventually rising to the role of production manager.
Partnering with Sherry Ziegelmeyer, Moyes co-founded Black and Blue Media, a publicity firm dedicated to adult businesses. After Ziegelmeyer’s passing from cancer in 2020, Moyes closed the firm and launched High Octane Heart Media and PR.
Today, Jay Moyes runs High Octane Heart, focusing on PR and media services for small adult businesses. His current clientele includes Mistress Mia Darque, The Dungeon Store—a curated collection of high-end BDSM gear—Studio 58 Events, and the kinky franchises of Mistress Cyan, including Sanctuary Studios and DomCon.
