Chicago – Renee Olstead is set to make an eye-popping appearance at Siri Dahl’s Corn Telethon, a 12-hour live-stream fundraiser hosted by Dahl and friends on October 15th, 2024.
This event, which will be streamed simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube, is aimed at raising funds for SWOP LA (Sex Workers Outreach Project Los Angeles) and supporting journalism initiatives focused on sex worker issues, and will feature a diverse lineup of entertainers, comedians and musicians coming together for a good cause.
Olstead, a passionate advocate for sex workers’ rights, is no stranger to supporting important causes like this. Having already contributed her time to mutual aid organizations such as SWOP LA and Pineapple Support, her involvement in the Corn Telethon aligns perfectly with her advocacy efforts.
“I’m so excited to be a part of Siri Dahl’s Corn Telethon this year. Events like this are so important, not only for raising funds but for raising awareness about the real challenges that sex workers face every day,” said Olstead. “That’s why initiatives like this are so close to my heart; we have the opportunity to shine a light on these issues in a fun and engaging way while still supporting organizations like SWOP LA, which are doing critical work on the ground to protect and advocate for sex workers’ rights.”
The Corn Telethon promises to be a nostalgic nod to classic variety show fundraisers, with a Halloween twist. Hosted by Siri Dahl and friends, it will feature costumes, giveaways, live entertainment and a lot of heart. As Olstead and other guests bring their star power to the event, the aim is to highlight the ongoing fight for privacy and safety, not only for sex workers but for all Americans.

ABOUT RENEE OLSTEAD:
Born in Houston, Texas, Renee Olstead began her entertainment career at a young age, amassing over nine seasons of television appearances (Still Standing, The Secret Life of the American Teenager), notable roles in movies such as 13 Going on 30 and Michael Mann’s The Insider, and two studio albums produced by acclaimed music producer David Foster.
In 2020, Olstead shifted focus, venturing into adult modeling and entertainment while pursuing her Master’s Degree in Psychology.
