Houston @ New York Jets: Houston. This game shouldn’t feel as close as it does, Houston is 6-2 and the Jets are 2-6. Houston is injured beyond belief and are on the road. Even with that I’m going with the better QB to win the game

Denver @ Baltimore: Baltimore. Baltimore coming off a loss and at home against a rookie QB. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a total blowout.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Cleveland: Chargers. Really torn here, think that the Browns can be upset here with Jameis but the Chargers are playing great football. Herbert has control of the offense and the defense is playing very well

Detroit @ Green Bay: Detroit. This one really depends on Jordan Love, if he is 100% and playing I can see the Packers winning. But him playing injured, or not at all, should lead to a Lions win.

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle: Seattle. I have no clue, Vegas has the Rams as the favorite but it’s a divisional game at home for Seattle and I think they are able to find a way to win this game

Week Eight 10 – 6

Season 78 – 44

Thursday

Houston @ NY Jets – Huston survived the Colts Sunday but paid a price losing Stefon Diggs for the season. However, they should have enough to defeat the death-spiral Jets who have lost their last 5 games. Houston 27 Jets 23

Sunday

Dallas @ Atlanta – Dallas is 3 – 1 in road games this season, but Atlanta is leading the NFC South and is starting to look like the real deal. Atlanta 31 Dallas 27

Denver @ Baltimore – Baltimore completely messed the bed last week when they lost to the Browns on the road last week. Denver has won their last two games and Sean Payton has them playing good football. It isn’t going to be easy, but the Ravens should bounce back this week. Ravens 30 Denver 24

Miami @ Buffalo – Buffalo quietly sits atop the AFC East at 6 – 2. Tua Tagovailoa played well in his return to action last week, but this game shouldn’t be a struggle for the Bills. Buffalo 34 Miami 20

New Orleans @ Carolina – This could be the week Carolina ends their 5-game losing streak. Combined these teams are 3 – 13. Derek Carr is supposed to return to action this week which is the defining factor in my choice. Saints 27 Panthers 23

Las Vegas @ Cincinnati – So much was expected this year from both teams. Joe Burrow is the best player on the field this week and maybe the Bengals defense can stop the Raiders once or twice. Bengals 27 Raiders 23

LA Chargers @ Cleveland – Jameis Winston lit up the Ravens last week for 334 yards and 3 TDs in their upset win. The Browns are motivated and that’s bad news if you’re a Charger. Browns 31 Chargers 24

Washington @ NY Giants – The Commanders survived last week with a last second hail mary pass against the Bears. The Giants lost against the Steelers on the road to fall to 2 – 6. Washington holds a one game lead over the Eagles. These are games the Commanders must win. Washington 30 Giants 23

New England @ Tennessee – At this point you’re playing for pride and respectability if you’re a Titans player after the beating they took in Detroit last week. The Patriots defeated the Jets last week, but that just shows how bad the Jets are. Titans 24 Patriots 20

Chicago @ Arizona – The Cardinals are in first place in the NFC West along with virtually everyone else in that division sitting at 4 – 4 (the last place Rams are 3 – 4). The Bears are in last place in the North at 4 – 3. See what playing in a crappy division makes you. Anyway, the Bears can’t score because their o-line can’t block. Their coach is an idiot, and they have blockheads playing in their secondary. This game could end in a 0 – 0 tie. Cardinals 27 Bears 23

Jacksonville @ Philadelphia – Doug Pederson returns to Philly with his head firmly on the chopping block in Jacksonville. It will not be a pleasant homecoming as the Jags arrive with a 2 – 6 record. Eagles 31 Jaguars 23

Detroit @ Green Bay – Jordan Love’s groin injury isn’t enough for him to miss the game, but it should limit his mobility. The Lions are destroying teams lately. The Packers are good but they’re not great. Lions 31 Packers 27

LA Rams @ Seattle – After a hot start, the Seahawks are 1 – 4 in their last 5 games. The Rams are 3 – 2 in their last 5 games and they are getting players back from injury weekly. Rams 27 Seahawks 23

Sunday Night Football

Indianapolis @ Minnesota – After a 5 – 0 start, the Vikings have lost their last two games. The Colts are playing respectable football, but it’s time for the Vikings to get back to their winning ways. Vikings 24 Colts 23

Monday Night Football

Tampa @ Kansas City – Tampa has too many injuries to make this a competitive game. Chiefs 34 Tampa 20
