NY Jets @ New England – The Patriots extended their winning streak to seven games after their win in Tampa last week. The Jets ride a two-game winning streak, but let’s face it, they are still a bad football team. Patriots 27 Jets 17
Sunday
Washington @ Miami (Madrid Spain) – Miami is coming off a big win at home against Buffalo while the Commanders come into this game on a 5-game skid after being boat-raced by the Lions Sunday. If Miami carries over the same effort they exhibited again the Bills, that would be more than enough to handle Washington. Miami 24 Washington 20
Carolina @ Atlanta – A battle in the NFC South in which the Panthers need to stay close to the first-place Buccaneers. Atlanta is on a 4-game skid but game the Colts all they wanted in their loss last week in Berlin. Carolina 31 Atlanta 23
Tampa @ Buffalo – Both teams lost last weekend, but the Bills did a face plant in Miami losing 30 -13. I expect the Bills to come back much more focused this week. Tampa is a good football team, but are they Super Bowl contenders? This game will reveal a lot about both teams. Bills 31 Tampa 24
Los Angeles Chargers @ Jacksonville – The Chargers come into this game riding a 3-game winning streak, while Jacksonville is 3-games back in the AFC South. The Jags could pull an upset, but the Chargers win a close game. Chargers 23 Jags 20
Chicago @ Minnesota – This game comes down to an inconsistent Vikings offense against a poor Bears defense. The Vikings lost last week to a surging Ravens team while the Bears had to scramble to defeat a struggling Giants team. Bears 27 Vikings 24
Green Bay @ NY Giants – The Packers have lost their last two games and looked lifeless in doing so. The Giants have lost their last 4 games but fired their head coach this week. If Jaxson Dart can’t go, then the Russell Wilson comedy act will get the start against the Packers. The Packers should win but look for a rejuvenated Giants team to make it hard on the boys from Wisconsin. Packers 31 Giants 20
Cincinnati @ Pittsburgh – The Steelers sit atop the AFC North, but the Ravens are breathing down their necks. The Steelers are coming of a sound defeat last week at the hands of the Chargers while the Bengals are coming of a much-needed bye. This is another big rivalry game with two geriatric QBs at the helm. If the Bengals defense shows up, an upset in not out of the question. Steelers 27 Bengals 24
San Francisco @ Arizona – Last week both teams were soundly defeated. Both teams are obviously struggling on both sides of the ball, so this game will come down to coaching and the advantage goes to the 49ers. 49ers 27 Cardinals 20
Seattle @ Los Angeles Rams – A battle for first place in the NFC West as both teams come into this game with 7 – 2 records riding 4 – game winning streaks. With two teams this evenly matched, this game is a coin toss. Rams 31 Seahawks 30
Baltimore @ Cleveland – It would appear the Ravens have their mojo back having won their last three games. Another rivalry game, but the Browns are a mess at QB. Ravens 31 Browns 17
Kansas City @ Denver – Yes, I know Denver sits atop the AFC West with an 8 – 2 record and the Chiefs come into this game at a lackluster 5 – 4. KC never loses coming off a bye and Denver’s unimpressive win over the Raiders doesn’t instill much confidence. Chiefs 34 Denver 27
Detroit @ Philadelphia – The Eagles struggled to score points in their 10 – 7 win over the Packers while the Lions destroyed the Commanders. This game shapes up to be an old-fashioned blood and guts matchup, however, it comes down to a flip of the coin. Eagles 27 Lions 24
Monday Night
Dallas @ Las Vegas – The Raiders fired their special teams coach this week. Yeah, that was the problem all along…sure. And Dallas is being Dallas once again. Another fun/bad game to watch Monday night. If Dallas doesn’t find a way to beat themselves, they should win this game easily, but they always make it hard on themselves. Cowboys 23 Raiders 20
