Chicago – The nominations for the highly anticipated Doppio Senso Night 2025 Awards have been revealed — and leading the charge is celebrated director Seth Gamble, whose seductive, psychological Wicked Pictures thriller Iris has captivated voters and claimed the greatest number of nominations. In a year rich with provocative storytelling and bold vision, Gamble’s latest creation stands poised to steal the spotlight.
Iris proved its dominance with a string of prestigious nominations, including Best International Director for Gamble, Best International Movie, and Best International Actress for the luminous Blake Blossom. The film also earned nods for Best International Screenplay (Gamble & Em) and Best International Editing (Matt Reel). Blossom herself dazzled further, claiming the coveted Best International Performer of the Year award.
“It’s a tremendous honor to be nominated for so many significant and sought-after awards,” Gamble expressed. “To be recognized alongside such an extraordinary group of directors and storytellers makes this moment even more meaningful. I’m beyond grateful to everyone at Doppio Senso Night for the acknowledgment. These nominations are a testament to everyone at Wicked, the tireless work and passion of our crew, the incredible performers we had on set, and the fearless, unforgettable portrayal Blake Blossom delivered. I’m immensely proud of what we built together — and it inspires me to keep raising the bar and exploring what’s possible in this ever-evolving art form. Il meglio deve ancora venire!”
